GAGA

New member here. What do you'll think qualifies as a true analog EDC/GADA watch?

Great new forum BTW.

There are hundreds of possibilities.

Can you be more specific. Price? Style(field, pilot, diver)? Movement (automatic ,manual, quartz, solar)?

I think @foghorn is correct, some more parameters would help to narrow down the number of options available to choose. One criterion I would think for a true GADA watch would be that it would need to function as a dress watch. This might not necessarily be true of an EDC watch, but do anything really means do everything, so I would start with that. Thoughts?

As foghorn mentioned, you gotta lay down some parameters first.

My personal GADA is currently this ISL-35.

For my personal uses, I don’t have to dress up much at all, and when I do putting this guy on the three link bracelet or a nice leather is plenty dressy for me. It’s a divers case with decent WR, and I actually love having the timing bezel for cooking, morning meds, and whatnot.

I was thinking of an Islander myself, but I do need something a little more dressy, so I would pick my #ISL-54 on a bracelet.

For me, my C63 is the most GADA watch I have. My DS30 is more capable, but the dial and case finishing are too "toolish" for anything dressy.

Thanks forumers for the input. Great examples. Here's the arguement criteria:

1. One watch (I understand their             isn't)

2. Material (SS/Ti)

3. Movement (Quartz, High PR, perp      date or none

4. Style (Any)

5. Price 1500
