Pros and Cons
I got a screaming deal on this Recraft SNKP23. I like the shape and the polished versus brushed areas of the case. But I think this is about as close to a "fashion watch" as Seiko builds.
It has no lume whatsoever and the 7S26C movement doesn't hack or handwind. Very barebones engine in this. The hacking function is no big deal, but given its only on my wrist once every two weeks, I would prefer to set it, wind it and go. I've become spoiled with all of these handwinding movements.
I still appreciate the watch, but would have paid more for a better movement and some lume.

Much like my automotive interests, I gravitate towards watches from Japanese-based brands. Of course, some micro-brands and homages sneak in too.

Definitely not a "fashion watch". How many square 70s-style watches do you see the current in-crowd rocking?
It's a spectacular retro Seiko. I bought one and returned it because it was too big for my tastes. And I'm weird - mostly found wearing 32-34mm dress watches.
That is a Great looking watch. Underappreciated, certainly.
