Tomorrow is Wyler Wednesday
According to the search tool this is the first mention of Wyler on this site. It is a shame that they are now so forgotten. They made excellent watches for a very long time. They also pulled great advertising stunts.
This is an entry level Wyler from the 1950's. It was well cared for.

Very nice! The brand is new to me but that is a very nice watch.
This is a very nice "everyday" watch from the 50ties ! I got a 35 mm Lanco with "teardrop" lugs and handwinding from 1953 and a 50ties Omega handwinder both everyday watches for the ordinary man. I like this ordinary authentic stuff a lot and not so much this blingy gold filled and diamond encrusted watches from Hamilton, Gruen, Westclox etc.
