According to the search tool this is the first mention of Wyler on this site. It is a shame that they are now so forgotten. They made excellent watches for a very long time. They also pulled great advertising stunts.

This is a very nice "everyday" watch from the 50ties ! I got a 35 mm Lanco with "teardrop" lugs and handwinding from 1953 and a 50ties Omega handwinder both everyday watches for the ordinary man. I like this ordinary authentic stuff a lot and not so much this blingy gold filled and diamond encrusted watches from Hamilton, Gruen, Westclox etc.
