British Dressy Field Watches or Fieldy Dress Watches
I’ve been moving a lot of watches in and out of my collection over the last two years, which all started with the purchase of my Vertex M100 in May of...

I too am a huge fan of the Marinemaster 300. The only other diver I currently own is a Vertex M60C AquaLion no-date, which cost about the same, is much smaller at 40mm diameter and 14mm thick, but somehow wears as large or even larger than the 44mm diameter and 15.4mm thick Seiko in all aspects other than sliding under a cuff, which the Vertex can actually do and the Seiko can’t.
The Seiko is probably more versatile as despite its huge size and sporty 1960s look, it is also quite dressy thanks to the Zaratsu polishing on the case and the shiny ceramic bezel. The Vertex, on the other hand doesn’t dress up as well thanks to the mostly matte DLC black finish (the polished bevels look amazing in black) and matte ceramic bezel.
I would be happy with either of these as an only watch, though thankfully I can have a choice.
