Can anyone help me identify my pocket watch

I recieved this as a gift from a friend around 10 years ago to use at a wedding. He let me keep it and I have used it when dressing up ever since. Works nicely and still keeps accurate-ish time.

Don't really know anything about it besides that it was made in CCCP.

Anyone know anything about this particular brand? Or Soviet pocket watches in general? Thanks.

It is a Molnija. They are still made today. Here is a helpful link.

This Molnija will have the 3602 movement inside, a little about that here.

Stamped on the movement will be 3602, the serial no, and probably SU (Soviet Union, produced for export markets). If SU is missing then it would be for the Russian market. Very occasionally the date of manufacture will be stamped, year and quarter.

The story behind the movement inside this one seems similar to the ST1901 movement and China. Very cool!

It all depends on the time of production - quarter/year until 1959, SU from 1960.

Calibre 3602 is built like a tank (and is similarly loud).
