I dont know anything about this watch but Karlskrona is one of the Navy bases and that trident is a nod to the Kustjägarna (marine rangers)

Story time

When I serviced in the Amfibiekåren (marines) I shared barracks with the Kustjägarna. I remember one of them had found a golf club in the forest and as a punishment for picking it up without an order to do so, he had to carry that golf club as part of his gear for the rest of the year. Every time I saw him he was having that golf club sticking out of his backpack.

And an other time I also remember marching past them during exercise and their officer were yelling at a Kustjägare soldier for not being able to finish his food fast enough. He was forcing freeze dried food down while simultanously throwing up and the officer is yelling "YOU NEED TO SHOW SOLIDARITY! THE OTHERS DEPEND ON YOU TO BE FUELED!" 😆

I have the Karlskrona Midnattssol, it's a solid watch. Nh35 workhorse is reliable and $250 that I paid, well worth. Solid bukkt watch, really good bezel action abs despite its size, very comfortable and a strap monster. I imagine the Baltic Shield will be equally as good

I own one. I like it, and it's be reliable. Though, admittedly I don't wear it much these days.

Absolutely great watches, this is my Baltic on a blue marine nationale. Barely been off my wrist in 6yrs, reliable as hell, comfortable, great lumen, sapphire and the build quality is outstanding at the price point. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Thanks for sharing mate. How was the wearing experience n would you mind sharing how it went out of rotation? 😊

Thanks mate. I came across the Midnattsol in some YouTube videos n it looks great too. Wonder what's the difference between them? 🤔 Lovely blue dial too. 😁

Respect to the men in service! Salute!

Wearing experience is that it's comfortable, maybe a bit top heavy on a nato. It fell out of the rotation because of a couple of factors. I wear a G shock during my work week, on the bike, in the shop woodworking, and car stuff. I bought a Tudor for my wedding watch, and I usually have it on when I don't need G for the rough stuff.

Totally get you mate. I find that steel cases usually feel more balanced witha 2 piece strap or metal bracelets. Which is why I haven't switched my Orient Mako II, my current daily, to a strap yet. Turns out 22mm can feel pretty comfy on the wrist.

I've tried some watches on natos n they can be top heavy too. So now I kinda stopped buying natos unless I'm really sure that I really wanted to try it out. 😁
