My Goals? Maybe...

So.,. I have so many watch mistakes. A lot of good and a lot of bad. Some cheap some expensive. Some new some vintage.

Bottom line I told the wife vintage will never stop so don't ask....(she gets me) but when it comes to the main core of 6 watches. I think I know what I want. Am I crazy or do we really need a bunch of 3k to 20k watches?

Jack Mason World Time GMT quartz (the case finish & bracelet is literally 1 & done... perfect)

Islander ISL-50

Yema Wrist Master Traveler

If I add a stowa 39 small seconds & a Omega Speed Master. Would that be the perfect collection. Price wise? Let me know your thoughts

(The book is for show.....the letter came with catalog) just saying lol

Perfect collection? That is a tricky question in this crowd, and I am perhaps not the best person to address limiting the size of a collection! 🤣

I am not sure there is a perfect collection from my perspective. Collecting is a hobby for me, and I collect numerous things of which watches is only one, and I don't tend to approach collecting with the intention of building a perfect collection. I approach it more like finding the right additions for each collection as an ongoing process, so the price of the collection is only a consideration for the purpose of homeowners insurance. 😉

My approach is to have a budget for collecting and to do my best not to exceed it too much. 😂 As I have said in different ways in a number of other posts on similar topics, my perfect collection includes at least one more watch than I currently have, and always will. 🤣

You need those screws in the crown guard for protection.  At 52.5mm you may consider it a ladies watch, but it wears large.

I feel for folks who love their Pro Divers and are embarrassed by the rest. Put up pics of your vintage watches. Vintage is getting cooler around here all of the sudden.
