New Oyster Perpetual 36mm vs Old

I'm thinking of making a Rolex OP 36mm my next purchase, but would like one that perhaps wears a little large for a 36mm. Rumour has it that the older discontinued version, 116000 I believe, wears larger than the current OP36. Anyone out there with hands on experience with both?? Would love to hear from you! Cheers 🍻

Wauw, that photo rendered out beautifully by the way😀!

I’d say yes, maybe a hair larger, but it’s more in volume or bulbousness. You don’t get the feeling in diameter or lug to lug per se, it’s the shoulders and bezel that feel it.

This is all subject to my personal opinion of course.

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or if my phone is really slow 😂

Lets just say I wouldn't waste too much time waiting for it to improve😁

The 36mm OP in my opinion wears a little bigger than it would suggest. I originally bought the 41mm & felt it wore bigger & I didn’t enjoy wearing it at all.

I sold it & bought the 36mm in blue & silver & have never regretted it. The blue dial is gorgeous & the design is a classic that will endure long past my lifetime. Do yourself a huge favour, get one irrespective of the millimetres. It also looks fantastic on a leather strap;

I have that exact watch in the photo and it definitely wears larger than 36. I also have a Smith's PRS-25 which is also a 36 and wears much smaller than that OP.

Also wears larger on the bracelet in my experience.
