Regulating a fast watch myself.

My LMM-H01 from Merci was running fast about 30 seconds a day which really ticked me off. (Punintended)

A YouTube video or two later and I had the courage to open up the screw down caseback.

The regulator very delicate and I had to push it with a tweezer and check with the timegrapher app which made this possible using an iPhone.

Towards the minus (-) to slow down the watch and the slightest touches on the tip with imperceptible changes moved it about 5 seconds a day so that took a few tries.

All in all fun journey although I might have a few nightmares tonight of pinching the gasket when I closed the caseback.

Nice job! It's great to be able to regulate watches yourself. It can really improve the enjoyment of a watch.

Yes, putting the case back on is my worry.

What App do you use? Does it work without a external microphone?

I used an app for a year or so then finally bought the Weishi 1000 Timegrapher most of the Youtubers use. I've regulated all my watches including the Hamilton that was delivered today (from 23 secs slow to 3 secs fast).

There's an app called timegrapher. Works with phone alone, you would have to be in a very quiet room with the watch resting on the mic to hear through the case, of course it's a lot more accurate with the caseback open and me holding it above the movement

I will check it out. Thank you
