Tutima Glashutte - A Discussion

The Tutima Patria watch represents a unique departure from traditional dress watches, embodying an anti-dress watch essence. While their heritage mainly revolves around aviation-themed watches and chronographs, the Patria stands out as a sophisticated addition to their lineup.

Close inspection revealed the essence of a £20,000 timepiece—the impeccable finishing, the exquisite caseback, and its substantial, doesn't make sense on paper but does on wrist 43mm size all harmoniously contribute to its allure. With prices occasionally seen to £4,000, it's a significant investment for a brand not widely recognized, but the undeniable quality of the product speaks volumes.

Have you had any encounters with Tutima? If you're in the market in 2024 for a distinctive watch, passing on this one would be a miss.

I have heard of the brand and remember seeing one watch store that had them in stock, but other than that I do not have any experience with them. That being said the Patria is stunning, especially for the price.

I got super lucky that a large retailer here started carrying them. The timing was rather pleasant that I discovered this watch and the brand and they launched their entire line in a store 5 mins from me

I came across Tutima, because they deliver the professional watches for aircrews of the German armed forces.

Privately I own a Tutima M2 Seven Seas and I really enjoy wearing it.

With it's toolish design, great legibility and WR of 50ATM I really can't think of any activity for which this watch is not suitable.

As I am an Aviator in the German Navy I received also the classic Tutima Military Chronograph. This watch is as well amazing and currently I am wearing it each and every day.

Great functionality and legibility und it wears so good on the wrist. Unfortunately it is nearly impossible to find one of theese beauties on the market. They have the Lemania 5100 and the design from Prorsche Design (Tom Cruise wore the Porsche Design in TopGun).

Over all the two watches have a superb build quality and wear really comfortable. I can only recommend to get your hands on a Tutima!

All the pieces punch way above their weight. I'm a big fan
