Hamilton's bracelet's lack of micro adjustment

Just wanted to know if anyone has solved the age old mystery of the finding proper fitting for Hamilton bracelets, that lack sufficient micro adjustment holes?  Does one have to swap out the clasp, drill their own, drink alot of water to bloat, not drink enough water to thin out . . . Please chime in if you have found a work around.  Thank you!

I have a Day Date Auto and put an Artem sailcloth strap on it with one of their Omega-style deployant clasps. It still doesn’t have micro adjust, but it seems to fit well and comfortably nevertheless.

I have the bracelet for it too, and after sizing it for my wrist it‘s perfectly comfortable, as long as my wrist doesn’t swell like it does when it’s hot outside.

You could try getting a leather strap and one of Formex’s deployant clasps to go with it. Those have micro adjust and are super comfortable.

Thanks James!  I am a metal bracelet only watch guy but appreciate your suggestion.  BTW, that's a free hashtag, #mbo if anyone wants it. 😜

Not easy. 😬

What do you think of the leather strap? Don’t like it? My Hamilton I like to wear only leather or nato strap.

I've put it on a nato... Problem solved, for me at least ! 😉

I appreciate it all, however, personally, there is only metal bracelet for me.  Any one find a way to "McGuyver" some adjust to the standard Hamilton clasp, or find another one that fits?

I think It may depend on the model

The Cooper (20mm)has 8mm & 10mm links & 3x micro adjusts @ 3mm each which makes the fit very good

However on the redbull airrace (22mm) only has 10mm links & 2x micro adjusts @ 3mm

at a glance they look like the same bracelet, but they aint

for comfort I would recommend a quick release milanese like this Gekota one

took that off leather for the ultimate quick pick up quartz easy fasten, pick up & go

Hamilton's khaki field bracelets are embarassingly bad for how much they charge for these watches. How much cost could it really be to add 2-3 more micro adjust holes?
