Seals Sea Foam Sea Storm
I saw a few videos on Youtube about this watch, it seemed the usual bunch of Reviewers were passing around a grey dial version of this watch. I hadn't heard of the Seals Watch Co before and checked them out. Of course, by the time my "late to the party" attention did all this, the Sea Foam green dial version with no date was already out of stock. So of course, I immediately contacted them to see if this was true. Michael Seals answered my inquiry and said he'd double check for me. 3 days later he said they had one more Sea Foam green dial that they had not been used in a watch yet and could make one if I was interested.
The design and style of this one really spoke to me so I said Yes! You all can go to their Site for specs as those are listed there and they are quite respectable. As for the overall fit and finish, they are very, very nice. My cell phone camera does not do it justice. It is polished where it enhances and the brushed where you'd want it. And the dial is unquestionable the highlight of this piece. The Sea Foam green is a deep hue of that shade, and oozes that retro cool of the past you can't quite remember but wish you were somehow back there. With the polished faceted hour markers bringing in the polished surfaces of the case and bracelet, the overall effect makes this a real looker.
The butterfly clasp of the bracelet was a risk but with a few screws and links out it fits my just over 7 inch wrist perfectly, not too loose, not too tight, no rattle, no pinching. This is not always the case with this style clasp so just got lucky.
Honestly, it took a bit to get here since they had to build it, but as I stated to Michael Seals, a great watch makes up for everything and I have to say a sincere "Thank you, Sir" to him for delivering this for me.
