PSA: Stay Vigilant and Safe friends...

I know I've banged on about this in the past, but realize that stuff can be replaced but also realize that criminals may take your stuff and harm you.

I'm highly selective where I wear certain watches.

I live in Surrey, British Columbia and have no fears about getting mugged or jumped for my watch in the Greater Vancouver area despite the region’s abundance of junkies and gang members. This goes for one of my Rolexes or watch from AliExpress. Nor do I worry when I visit cities such as Seattle or London.

This time of year in the northern hemisphere, most of us have turned to long sleeves and jackets which cover your watch when you are outdoors.  Unless you have been set up by people that know you wear an expensive watch, there is a very slim chance of getting mugged.  I bought my watches for enjoyment and I wear it.  I also bought my Smith & Wesson for enjoyment and I  wear that too.

Never even crossed my mind here…but I’m in flyover country, USA. Maybe it’s because I conceal carry? I don’t think so. Being a mechanical watch guy, my carry gun is a revolver.  Seems fitting.

Also I don’t own a Rolex, so there’s that.

Not just Rolex. There are other brands, and in general they may not be going for your watch solely. Sending you a PM on the other item you mentioned.
