This is the Aoraki flieger by Draken Watches. They are a New Zealand based micro brand. The Aoraki, named after the tallest peak in the Southern Alps, is their first model to be designed and built here in Aotearoa. I’ve been counting the days until this watch launches. I think it’s a very nice interpretation of a classic style, and I love the fact that I can support a local designer.
I will put that on my list, Maverick 😛 Always looking for great coffee! Our Cuba Street was actually named after an early settler ship, the Cuba, that arrived in Welly Harbour, Te Whanganui-a-Tara, sometime in early 1840 👍
I love this Brew. It has a really cool 70s - 80s vibe that always makes me feel like I’m in a John Hughes movie when I wear it 🤪
