I’ve always wanted the sla017.
With the crazy re-sale value of the watch. My wallet cannot justify purchasing it in the secondary market.
The Sla065 does scratch the itch for me ☺

This was such a interesting release. Unlike the original SLA017 which was a original recreation of the 62mas, this SLA065 is more like a premium offering of the 63mas lineup (SPB143 series). For those who want a 63mas with 8L movement, this is such a great option and also reasonably priced. It maybe a good initial test by Seiko to keep a 8L movement version in permanent catalogue.
The ever brilliant steel was a nice touch in their previous models but the prices for those versions very quite expensive too.
Looking to buy this beautiful watch.. how do you like it now.. is it still a good purchase?
