vostok vintage ministry of defense issue watch
Hello all today I purchased this beauty of a vintage Vostok. The dial is in the sort of condition that I like for vintage Soviet era watches in worn but still wearable conditions.
I like military watches and even tho it wasn't really issued to the Soviet armed forces it still has that history of been orderd by the ministry of defense to be stocked in stores that military personal could use. And I have little doubt that some of these would of been worn in military exercises.
This ones dial is showing its age with use the crystal is yellowed however the case is in great condition and it is running well. 17 Jewel manual wind movemnt.
Like to hear your thoughts
Been collecting for a few years now i have a number of swiss, russian and American vintage watches along with some modern ones.
Here's mine. Your bezel is original, mine is off a similar Kom from a few years later. (Still have the original) Looking at my photo, I think I need to open it up and give the dial a blow.
