1960s Yema Sous Marine, sub second restoration Part 2

So you remember the Yema Sous Marine? Maybe you do, this is how the thingie ended up after the long progress of cleaning the dial from that crispy dirt, reshaping & polishing case, Numerals and Indicies. After reluming the indicies and hands and then fitting it all back together to end up as a beauty! I hope you'll like it as much as I do. Leave a feedback if you do.

Really like this watch (and your photography!) and applaud your restoration work but this look is a bit too much vintage for me if i'm honest

Fair point. I'm a huge sucker for Vintage pieces and personally adore the look of that watch, which was the reason I've restored it the way it is now. Also thanks for the kind words.

Fantastic work, love the contrast of the bright shape lume against the aged dial

That… is beautiful.

Are those radium hands?

God! Incredible photography! Of course the watch is beautiful as well. I’m waiting for my vintage piece to arrive as we speak.

Nope it's Tritium. Sadly

Love the combination of blue nato and gold indices!

Wow... It looks really beautiful and has so much character. Will you try to put it on another brown leather strap?

Maybe, annoying thing with Yema is, they all have uneven lug widths. So I'll need to get another 17mm strap to try a different brown leather on it. Next I'll try is a blue suede strap I've ordered from CNS.
