Just for Fun: What do you think about Black Manta's IWC in the new Aquaman movie?
Here's what I got as far as I can see on 25:25 time marker:
Automatic movement, no idea what caliber it uses, but apparently they haven't figured out how to use Atlantean tech to juice up the watch
2000 meter WR for unimpended dive & battle in the ocean depth
Reddish lume on brand logo, hands, chapter ring & bezel, perfect for a super villain look
Second hand is not legible, guess terrorizing the 7 oceans doesn't require to-the-second precision
The 5 minutes bezel markers seem to be inside the crystal rather than on the bezel, kinda like a super compressor style, but can't locate the second crown to rotate it if it's indeed a super compressor
Black rubber strap to match the costume & intense water activities
I personally don't think it's a real watch made by IWC, more like a prop used for shooting. Anyway kinda fun to see the Black Manta used IWC for his watch. I thought he's more into Phoibos with the octopus logo or Heimdall with the shark logo 😂

Apparently the watch was indeed custom made by IWC based on their aqua timer and not a fake prop watch, although I can’t imagine anyone wanting to take credit for it. I say this as a fan and owner of IWC - that watch is hideous lol
Looks like they may have removed the crown that rotates the interior bezel.
