Christopher Ward Snow Leopard

Here’s the newest edition to the collection. My first Christopher Ward and it took 11 months to arrive. This one tested the limits of my patience. Release date was pushed back not once but twice in order to obtain COSC certification.

First thing- it’s a big boy. 40mm but wears like a 42mm. Next the dial- I don’t know if photos show the texture of the watch with the leopard pattern but it’s awesome. Looking forward to making many memories with this one.

I actually impulse pre-ordered this but talked myself into canceling after realizing it was too big for my liking. A 38mm version would of been amazing! (I know the in-house movement takes a bigger case size but hopefully vs 2 will fit in a smaller case size)

Me too. I even wrote them an email asking if they are going to be producing a smaller version in the near future. I'm being told they will but no set date. That was about the same time they started the pre-order for this watch. I can't believe it took them 11 months for the delivery.

There is suppose to be a SH21 version 2 in development. It was teased in one of the CW Loupe magazines a few issues ago. I believe, if I remember the article correctly, that it was supposed to be a smaller diameter, allowing for them to use 38-39mm cases. As for the wait, I think it's better then a lot of these kickstarter watches and I would be much more confident ordering from CW and knowing I was going to get the watch eventually or worse case get my money back.
