Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I wasn’t initially a ”watch collector “ I literally had 2 watches- a Tag my wife bought me for our wedding anniversary and a Seiko Prospex “Arnie” that I thought was cool for outdoor activities. I friend of mine had just purchased an Omega world timer and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. He and I started talking more and more about watches I saw his collection and said-This is something I can get into and I slowly started purchasing watches that I like. I’m enjoying the hobby!

A Swatch Watch when I was in high school
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
My Tag Heuer Link was my first expense purchase for my 10th wedding anniversary which was 20 years ago- it’s my most treasured item in my collection
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Take your time- don’t rush into a purchase.

Patek Philippe 5204R - it is quite simply the perfect watch
