Which of these should be my next watch?

I’ve been looking to scratch an itch I have to add to my collection. Both do these pieces are in that $600~ range. The choices are:

  1. Baltic Aquascaphe Blue Gilt

  2. Tissot PRX Tiffany Blue Automatic

I think the PRX is really fun but I don’t have a diver yet and I really like the brand that Baltic has been building these last few years. This would also be my first diver.

Would love some input from anyone who maybe has either of these watches.

you'll get lots of opinions but tough to go wrong there...

I got a Baltic Aquascaphe Titanium recently - super impressed with the quality and design. Very legible, super lume, great bezel. It honestly punches wayyy above it's weight/rrp. I even got it wet - even in this pic you can read the time!

I have seen a couple of tissots in the wild, they look good but wear large. A little more formal than the Baltic.

If you're a suit and wine-bar kinda guy, the tissot may be more your style.

If you're a jeans and t-shirt guy, the Baltic is a better way to go. Also having strap options is very nice - especially with the drilled lugs.

Great advice, thank you! Just wish I could see the Baltic in person before purchasing.

If your budget will stretch to it, maybe scratch both itches at the same time? Get the PRX and a Glycine Combat Sub as your first diver.

The Combat Sub can be had for $309 on a bracelet:

What other watches do you own?

I can tell you the Baltic case is very nicely made and machined. The lug-to-lug is short and tidy. Bezels are very good. I can't really speak about the colour, but the blue looks gorgeous. The tropic strap is a really nice touch, I'm quite picky on straps and generally like a super soft silicon (Barton Watch Straps are nice), but the I could actually get by with the Baltic Strap.
