Two New Watches for the New Year
They are my two newest watches, and as chance would have it, they arrived within a few weeks of each other, one just two days ago, right around Chinese New Year. One was made in France, but with Chinese numerals (and my name at twelve o'clock), in very Chinese red with a gold seconds hand. The other was actually made in China, with lots of Chinese design cues. Yet they both have a French connection; the founders of Atelier Wen are French. And they both also have guilloché dials; one is real rose engine turned, the other is CNC. So, 新年快樂! Happy New Year to one and all!

Your wish is my command. I just happened to switch it over. The strap and bracelet are quick release, but it's still kind of fiddly. Black works better than I thought it would. I've never really worn a watch a rubber strap before. This one is rather nice and comfortable.
