Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
Got into the watch world by marveling at the work of independent watchmakers like Sarpaneva, Akrivia, MB&F, Chaykin and the likes... Thanks to YouTube and the passion of enthusiasts and professionals like Max or Teddy, that love of independent watchmaking transferred to mainstream brands, and the appreciation of the history behind every invention and every dial!
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A red Casio when I was a kid, then a Tissot Lépine pocket watch when I was a teenager, but the first watch I chose and bought for myself is a Hamilton Pilot Pioneer Mechanical.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Breitling with their Pistachio dial, Grand Seiko with their Urban Bamboo, Tudor and the BB58, Longines with the Heritage Sector Dial, Nomos and the Zürich worldtimer, Oris and the Big Crown Calibre 473... So much to marvel at!
