1990s Seiko 5 7009, 34mm. I bought this a while back to see how I felt about 34mm on my almost exactly 8” wrist — I had been looking at vintage watches and was not sure if this small would work. I think this is only the second time I have wirn it since I got it, this was the cheapest 34mm on eBay at the time and I was not much concerned with the looks, and don’t much care for it. But it’s good to get it out periodically and I should just put it on ebay for a starting $1 bid.

It looks a little like my (Gasworks) 7005-8002 from October 1972. I happen to be wearing it today, for the first time in ages:

That’s outstanding!

Thanks. 🤝

This one's 37mm. Runs fast - around +20spd - but that's fair enough for something over 50 years old!

Maybe you should look into swapping for one from the Gasworks Donkey Sanctuary! He's on here (https://www.watchcrunch.com/GasWorks) and sells them refurbed on eBay.

A little small for me but a very cool watch.

Thanks! I’m looking at a couple 34mm vintage Omegas so it has been a concern.
