Yes, i have read one customer review that the leather just fell off the rubber part. Price asides, this sound like there is no safe bet but to try from the cheapest up?
I mean if it's pure silicone or rubber, price really don't corelate much just need to hit the right one. But when there's leather and craftsmanship/quality control involved, it's a tough call since if I don't like it I'm not going to wear it and feel somewhat wasteful to explore/pay for this info.
Probably something to do with how do you condition your dopamine. (and I disagree with all the "get rid of dopamine addiction bs because the dopamine itself is the addiction and addiction itself is human motivation /mechanism)
With this in mind a lot of people says (sonce you cannot escape addiction which is a healthy human condition) you should be addicted to good things. (and this can goes along the way of collecting small wins, building good habits and stuff that's going to sound bs but it make common sense)
anyway will check the article for sure looks super fun to read
I also have a small wrist and what I do is I find watch that sit perfectly on my wrist and take that lug-to-lug measurement as a gold standard. anything else don't matter I just take the lug-to-lug measurement of the watch I'm interested in against that perfect number and never try to go beyond that. It never works for me no matter how much I like the watch.
Well, soon if not already, AIs will win the war against Captcha and soon you will find out anything on any platform or any community on the internet cannot be trusted. Imagine a 100,000 bots rigorously debate on non-existent topics on every mainstream platforms...
Update : I have found it, my everyday, beater thrown-away day-date quarz
It's Casio 1239D Silver dial
On Second thought it may not take as much beating since the case is not stainless steel and the glass is obviously not sapphire but I can always replace it with another whenever I feel like (these millennials don't repair things anymore) and the quartz movement is practically Nokia3310.
I also found the White dial equivalent, SUR447. Looks so good but the official info page says it was 47.5 lug-to-lug so sadly definitely going to overhang from my wrist. such a shame could have been a perfect one for my beater description
