Battle of the Blue. FXD vs Planet Ocean 8900.

I can’t keep both. There’s only one space for a sporty summer/oversized piece with a bit of colour. Any thoughts to the masses? Tudor FXD vs PO 8900

My Bronze gets it’s fair share of wrist time.

I got hold of the Bronze a little while back, and although I don’t wear it daily, it always makes me smile when I put it on. Autum, worn in boots, wax jackets, the bronze always gets more wrist time. I’ve a SS 38mm Hammy Auto to play with all my natos with.

Thanks for your comments. Hoping to get an FXD back into the collection soon.

Ultimately, both bit the dust as the victim of ‘the call’ from the AD.

Stock Hamilton strap. Worn hard.

Love it. Feels like putting on an old pair of boots.

It’s what got me started my watch journey. Congratulations.

I was also was initially concerned about the size, and if it would look too dainty on my wrist.  I’m 6’2 and a large guy. All the concerns went away when I went to collect the 124270 from my AD. As mentioned above, the watch has a heft and chunkiness that is far from meek. The bracelet taper doesn’t seem as extreme as has been mentioned, and the clasp feels large and substantial to help with the slight slim down.

Having worn it for 4/5 months now, I believe the hype of versatility of the piece. Above all I’ve learned to try watches on, believe with my own eyes, and gently poke a nose into reviews and forums for opinion. I was so pleasantly surprised with what I found.
