Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
Without revealing my age , I would say I started seriously collecting 30 years ago. I always associate watches with my dad. He always has a watch on his wrist, I remember as a kid watching him wind his watch every morning ready for work.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Seiko Quartz with green dial and green velvet strap. I cant remember the exact model. I was age 4 when my mum and dad bought it for me.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
My Tudor North Flag waited 4 years to get this watch. Discontinued in 2019 finally got this beauty end of 2023.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy what you like. Don't follow the trends.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Tudor, Rolex, VC, Seiko & Omega. And more recently Longines and Hamilton.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
It is not possible to have just the one grail watch. I have a few rolex rootbeer full everose, Vacheron Constantin Overseas. They are both gorgeous timepieces.
