Old but definitely gold - the Omega Speedmaster Reduced II Automatic
This is not the first watch of, but the oldest watch in my collection. It was produced round about in the year I turned 18 years old.
With its 39mm case its extremely versatile and wears absolutely comfortable on the wrist. The 2nd version of the Speedmaster Reduced (called Reduced II) is much rarer than the first version due to its short production period.
The Reduced II features a much better and also more modern clasp. In addition it features a saphire crystal glas instead of the hesalite glas the 1st version has. With its 100m/10bar water resistance, it is more water resistant than every Speedmaster Professional (Moonwatch) model I know.
Do you also have „an oldie“ in your collection you like for reasons the actual/recent models don‘t offer?

I think it would have the ability to be a daily beater. I worn it approx. twice a month last year but in 2024 it will get more wrist time 👍🏼
