I like the idea of a 3-watch collection.  But I suspect that many 3-watch collections we see online are just subsets of larger collections. 

I already have two from my father (one is quartz and will die, fine; one is an accutron that I will preserve in working condition), so that only leaves room for 1-2 more.  Mayve I can get down to 5.

I've seen some define the 3-watch collection as a watch that can be worn on the bracelet, on leather, and on silicon.  A GADA would be a watch that can be worn on all three.  Another perspective.
