Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
My grandmother used to give me watches (G-Shock and Swatch) as a child. I bought myself a Seiko Kinetic as celebration of my first real job. My wife (then GF) gifted me a Seiko 5 and shortly thereafter my father passed down my grandfather's vintage OP; I was officially hooked.

Forget the haters and buy what you like. Try as many watches on as you can before making a decision. Give yourself a budget and boundaries.

Breguet, Glashutte Original, Trilobe, Armin Strom
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
IWC Pilot Perpetual Chronograph Rose Gold. I love the simplicity of being able to operate all the time and calendar functions through the crown. Pilot watches are cool. Who doesn't want more gold in their life?
