Your favorite Cartier Non-Tank Dress Watch?

Cartier generally appeals more to women than men, and the Tank is likely the most iconic unisex timepiece Cartier has ever made. However, apart from the Tank, there are also other very elegant unisex watches in the Cartier lineups. Usually size small is more suitable for women, and large or in some cases, extra large fits men better. Medium can be worn by either sex. In this poll, I use the medium size to represent each line. In addition, most of them may be matched with either a bracelet or a leather strap. In this poll, I go with the one as shown in the stock photo of the line. I think all the models in the picture above look good on a man's wrist. The Pasha de Cartier is quite feminine, but I think some men can still pull it off as elegant instead. So, which of these would you consider the best Cartier dress watch for men apart from the Tank?

Drive de Cartier though discontinued and not included in the poll. My Santos is worn in a sporty fashion. But it's also the ADLC version which is less formal

Ha... you responded in advance to a poll that I'm going to create tomorrow, about the different versions of Tank! 😂

I also found the Tank Francaise very good looking but I am not able to find much history behind it other than just the year in which it was introduced. For example, why was it named "Francaise"?

Santos-Dumont. The Santos de Cartier is more of a sport watch than a dress watch.

You are right, but I just find it very elegant and can be worn as a dress watch too. This one is classic. I really like it goes with the blue leather strap. Years ago, before I even started looking into luxury watches, I used to have a "Santos homage" watch from a Chinese brand that no one has ever heard of.. But it was at least 3 times thicker than the real Santos! It was like wearing a brick on my wrist, but I loved the look! 🤣

I currently have a Tank and may get a Santos too in the future.

Yeah lines are blurry. The Santos de Cartier is definitely a GADA type watch, more so than the Santos-Dumont.

Beautiful watch! Found it on Youtube:

Goodbye Cartier Drive and the Drive Extra-Flat

I am not familiar with discontinued Cartier models, and I can only include up to 4 options for a poll in this forum.

So, thank you for sharing. The Drive de Cartier is indeed a beautiful watch. Sad that it was discontinued.

Yes, you are right. I should have included Santos-Dumont, rather than Santos de Cartier in this poll. 👍

Well it’s still winning by a landslide, really shows the popularity of the Santos

Yes, should have had the Santos Dumont in the options. It is the dressier version of the Santos.
