Always wore a watch because I've always found it important to be on time. Watches, for most of my life, were a tool. Now I'm beginning to appreciate the engineering of watches, but I'm also seeing that there are so many directions a person can go in this hobby. I appreciate value propositions and engineering in a watch, hence I'm attracted to brands like Grand Seiko, Christopher Ward, Seiko, and Casio. Other brands that have my attention: Maen, Vaer, and Vertex. Unfortunately for me, I don't have unlimited $$$.
Now that is unique! Never seen one and never knew they existed. Thanks for the post! I remember when Ninetendo Game Boys came out -- the same year (1989) that my first son was born. Cool!
Nice! I enjoy my CW very much (I have a Trident.) I really like the GMT complication, too, but I don't have one yet -- some day! I see your new CW's the 39mm. What is your wrist size?
Lucky for me, it hardly ever rains out here in the desert plains of Colorado, but when it does, it's a flash flood. When it's like that, G-Shock all the way because I'm usually outside and wading through water and mud to keep my basement from flooding! :-)
Hi, Tyler! When did you get that Trident? I'm new to watch collecting and new to CW. I don't recall seeing a Trident GMT in their current line up, so I'm interested to know what year your Trident was made.
I just received my first CW, a Trident 600, last month and I'm quite happy with it. Cheers!
Very nice, Paulo! And I agree with your comment about CW looking and feeling like a watch that should cost so much more. I really enjoy my CW Trident. Enjoy!
