It started with a SARB035 then I fell in love after that.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
The first watch I can remember was a Casio Calculator when I was about 10 or 11.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Not really! But my 1966 Seiko Lord Marvel low beat is pretty rare as they were only produced for a year. You don’t see that one pretty often.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
My advice would be to do your research first as it could be an expensive hobby. And second, a dress watch worn casually look much better than a tool watch worn with tailored clothing.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
I’m a vintage Seiko guy but some of the modern Grand Seiko’s have been on my radar as well.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
I’m not sure if I have a grail watch yet. But I really want a 44 and a 45GS.
