Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I have been always fascinated by watches, one day I decided to hunt for 1985 white dial Seiko 5, just like the one my father gave me on my elementary school graduation 🎓 that unfortunately got stolen a couple of years later. I wasn't able to find what I wanted, but the experience open my eyes to appreciate even more these little machines and start my watch collecting journey, on a budget, may I add.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
First watch = Casio F600 First mechanical watch = Seiko 5
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
You can ask for all the advice you want and listen to all kind of different opinions but ultimately get the watch that make YOU happy.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Seiko always, but affordable micro brands like Nezumi are getting very attractive.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
At this point it is the Grand Seiko Snowflake.
