Question: IWC Mark XX (IW328202) no longer in catalogue?
Hey, quick question, maybe someone knows. Did IWC, as quietly as they released the Mark XX, discontinue the black dial / metal bracelet option? The we...
I won’t do any such thing. Had an aquascaphe since September 2019 and it took me everywhere, Malta, Italy, Estonia, Ukraine - proper travel tool watch. Doesn’t attract attention and looks good while doing that.
It sings on a tropic strap and a gray NATO. The BoR is one of the most comfortable steel bracelets. When I wanted to replace the clasp on the bracelet (Baltic made a safety clasp in their later models) I managed to work it out with customer service within 48 hours - amazing team working there.

The opaline dial gives me microbrand vibes. Probably only because black dialed GMTs are such a Rolex/Tudor thing (I know, meteorite dials and such exist) and whenever I see a white dialed GMT it comes from a microbrand. So maybe I just have to get used to it. 😄
I have a Baltic Aquascaphe Black Gilt. Had it for almost four years now and I even purchased the gen. 2 clasp to kind of upgrade it. In winter it works great as an everyday watch on the bracelet, in summer it sings on the tropic strap or a NATO.
I also feel like Baltic basically rules the "watches from a bygone area on a budget" market since day one. Like, you see the homage but it's not a blatant steal. I like that about the brand.
