The noise online is mostly from dealers who cannot profit from dealing Hublot pieces. If a hublot is your thing, enjoy it to the fullest and wear it for yourself, not the community.

Ditto. The moonswatch is neat, sure, but is not worth what you pay and is essentially a disposable watch. They will become collector's items over the long run but only if they are in unworn condition.

Buy what you love and what is within your means. Don't follow the herd, never buy to impress, and never let anyone judge your choices (and don't judge the choices of others).
One person also reminded me once - "if Mark Whalberg can wear and Rolex or Patek, then switch into his Timex Ironman, then everyone can. Noone is too good for an affordable."

I think the ideal stealth wealth watch is a steel Patek Aquanaut. Those who know, know and those who don't won't recognize it.
