New 20mm magnetic rubber straps arrived. I got three for $3.77 ea. This is the black and orange. Very pleased and will order more.
If you fiddle a bit, you can put it on with the strap tucked inside. (Last photo)

Good concern. This is quartz and not quite as susceptible to magnets. I think my iPhone’s MagSafe magnets create more of a field.
