December 1970 King Seiko. I say it's a rare dial, I understand they're are rarer things on this earth but*can't find a donor watch for this one or a second one without 1. Paying more than I did for this one or getting one with a different dial to have a second movement. I love this watch. It's part of a collection of 4 Lord Marvel (white Linen dial), Lord Matic (Gray/Silver dial), King Seiko (Deep blue dial) and Grand Seiko 45GS (White dial). But this one is the most versatile and with the Lord Matic is an automatic, make modern watch lovers do a double take, and aren't fragile. But I still treat them all with care, all range in date from 1970 to 1973.

That is a stunner. The strap/strap color goes so well with it too.

Thanks. Vintage Seikos are the reason I got into watch collecting. They gave me a place to start and focus in music journey that we're within a budget I could stomach, I was interested in their history and I would love wearing.

This one came with a great new Seiko band with a period correct feel. This band stays with this one. But another great thing about collecting these vintage Seikos is finding a good band to pair it with. Or two.
