This was my first proper watch, bought to celebrate an accomplishment in my career. Consequently, I will never part with it. Growing up, naive to the snobbery of some watch collectors I held Tag in high regard. I know some collectors snub Tag, but this watch is absolute quality. I may just have got lucky, but it keeps time pretty much in line with my master chronometer Meta certified Omega.
What do you think of Tag Heuer??🤔

I love tag the Monaco is easily a top 5 racing watch for me
I love my Carrera, like you I will never part with it. I like to call mine the "other speedy" because when you compare it the the Omega you can see where TH drew some inspiration. Think inspiration, but not duplication.
I think Tag Heuer has lots of blame for bad rep on themselves. Transparency/communication with "in-house" movements, going away from Heuer legacy and steering more towards fashion or cash grabbing ( LVMH influence/strategy? ) with products like smart watches, Mario Tourbillon, gold Aquaracer ... basically no common thread and being all over the place. In my opinion it is a good brand with legit historical significance but they should lean more towards Heuer legacy and as it is seen they are somewhat doing that but still a long way to go to reach former Heuer status

I will never part with mine either. I gave it a spruce up last year and swapped from the bracelet to a leather strap and it felt like brand new again.
