Mr Talking Hands - Watchfinder

I have to admit, Andrew Morgan & his wonderful watch reviews are definitely the biggest reason I have splurged the money I have on watches over the last few years.

He is absolutely the best in the business at educating us watch dummies as to the pros & cons of many, many watches across all price points. He's a wonderful wordsmith that means that I maintain an interest in his uploads even if the watch he's speaking of doesn't interest me in the slightest.

The last 18 months in which Tom has become a greater part of the whole reviewing gig has increased my enjoyment even more. It's always amusing to hear someone that's inherently cynical of the environment he's chosen to/fallen into earn a living from. Whilst they are no modern day Laurel & Hardys or Abbot & Costellos, they are definitely at least the equivalent of the watch world Chuckle Bros 😜

I'm of an age where "influencers" were people I laughed at the thought of being responsible for my spending habits. Well they were until I found Mr Morgan whispering quietly away at my subconcious mind whilst I catnapped at work, only to find I had an Omega Speedmaster delivered that I could have sweared I'd never ordered.

My wife has his picture stapled to her dartboard in her ladies room that I'm not allowed anywhere near. She says it's all his fault that we had to slum it in Barbados this year when she really wanted to hire out Necker Island from Sir Richard Branson. She's a scary woman my wife & I really hope that Andrew has one of those mirrors attached to a long stick, that he can use for checking underneath his car for bombs. She's also suggested we start attending Grand Prix events in order that she can try out that Cane Gun she illegally imported from the Congo.

All of the above is irrelevant to my question to you guys/girls that may also be an Andrew/Tom cult member like myself. As much as I enojy 90% of their youtube uploads, I've never bought a watch from Watchfinder...never. I've tried on quite a few occasions but always found their watches to be over priced. How does everyone else feel about this? Do you also feel their watches are a tad on the high side? Have you bought a watch from Watchfinder? Clearly many have, otherwise Andrew would be back writing his novels in his basement & his wife's Oyster Perpetual would be sitting proudly in some pawn shop close to their house.
