Help needed on bezel insert replacement

This is my cheap watch that I used to practice adjusting the movement. It’s a n34 clone. If I make a mistake I want it to be on this $50 watch. I’ve got it to 0 beat error and +/- 1 second per day. Now I want to practice replacing the bezel insert.

I’m thinking of a root beer or something with a little pop of color. How do I measure for the replacement? It isn’t flat. Any recommendations on where to get inserts? I’ll post before and (hopefully) after photos.

I think you have to measure the inside and outside diameter. Once you get that you can search by those dimensions on Ali Express. It is probably a sloped insert. You can also check with secondhandmods.com. They have a good selection of bezel insets.

It’s kinda hit or miss ordering the right bezel insert. It took me a few orders of wrong sized insets when I was in the same boat as you. Now I try to stick with SKX compatible parts.

Glad you found it! Yeah, I had never heard of them either till I started getting into modding/building watches.
