Glycine Airman Collection

I bought my first Glycine Airman 4 years ago. After getting hooked on the Airman Series, I've been collecting them ever since, trying every model I could get my hands on. For now, the eight Airmans pictured here are the ones that I can't seem to bring myself to part with so this might be my core collection of modern Airmans. These represent reissues of each generation of the historic Airman progression. I'll want some vintage Airmans as well eventually but for now but this is my regular rotation of Airmans and I love this collection!

Question .... is the airman chief an actual 24 hour watch?

Thanks for the question! The Airman Chief is offered with both options, one that is a GMT and the other that is a 24 hour watch. The way that you know the difference is that if the watch has a fourth hand, that means that it functions like a typical GMT. If it only has 3 hands, the hour hand goes around the dial once per day like a 24 hour watch and reads the second time zone off of the bezel. In my collection above, the last two watches shown are my GMTs while the rest are 24 hour (referred to as purists).

My apologies to your wallet, lol! The Airmans are worth it though. Which one are you targeting next?

You have a D24 09. I want one so bad. Glycine should have kept making that movement and using it in their GMTs.
