Do you have insurance for your watches?

Another day @timegeek posted this: https://www.watchcrunch.com/timegeek/posts/do-you-worry-about-theft-when-wearing-an-expensive-or-expensive-looking-watch-10631 That let me think even more about having insurance for my most expensive watches. What is your opinion about this subject?

I personally think that watch insurance is important depending on the cost of the watches. I have watches in a variety of price points but I insure mine through Jeweler's Mutual. Highly recommend.

Not sure how to answer.

The one I'm wearing on the go, is covered by my travel insurance. Unless I bring more than one and exceed the covered amount, I'm good.

At home, they're covered by the contents insurance.

What exactly does it cover?

Mine convers full replacement and loss, among other things. It's actually quite generous, and they also insure Jewelers so it's gotta be good.

Yes i have insurance for years with Jewelers mutual ..also highly recommend ..especially in these times and if you live in or near an urban area a real MUST for piece of mind ..Any watch over 5000.00 should be insured imho. the JM insurance covers damage also
