Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
Through my father and older brother.

Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Yes, my Rolex GMT-Master 2 Rootbeer in Roségold. I sold my AP Royal Oak Jumbo 15202 and wanted to get a special piece from Rolex in gold. Originally I wanted to get a white gold Daytona, but the waitlist was quite long at that time. So my AD called me and showed me this GMT-Master which he had on stock, which I didn't like at the first glance.. until my wife told me that she really liked it. And so did my perception of it changed and I wanted to get it. But it was too late, someone else told the AD he wanted to have it.. I was quite sad about that. But all of a sudden that other guy also said no and it was available for me again.. and I pulled the trigger and I am quite happy with it ever since.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
I have a whole video regarding that topic.. but the first thing might be: SLEEP OVER IT!
