GrandSeiko is all about the quality finishing of the case/dial/hands. But has any of you experienced getting a brand new GS with visible dents/scratch...
No, there's no originality (except for the lugs, crown guards and the bazel at 10). However the overall built quality and spec is outstanding. 10/10 value for money.
At least if I get a homage, for sure I know it's the watch I intended to buy.
But not so much for a Rolex when there are so many replicas around.
To answer the question, I am more than happy to own and wear a homage. Given that the homage's quality is as it states.
If you love a particular design and care little about a brand history etc, a good quality homage is the way to go. Saving you thousands and you can enjoy a good looking and reliable time piece.
