Would you trade? RZE gmt vs seiko spb053
Hey everyone!
Would you trade an RZE GMT for a modern interpretation of a 62mas seiko prospex spb053?
I consider the main pros of the RZE to be its titanium construction, scratch resistance and the GMT function.
I do enjoy the history of the 62mas and this reinterpretation by seiko.. also the movement 6R15 seems to be a bigger upgrade to the nh34 (aside from the gmt function)
Do you guys think it’s a worthy trade? Both are pre owned and are of similar value. Thanks for reading!

I would do it. I was in a similar position with trading two of the Nodus watches I owned for a used in good condition SPB257. I didn’t have so much success trying to sell the Nodus watches compared to the Seiko and Citizen watches I have sold before.
Personally, I would go for the trade. It has less to do with the specs and more to do with the anesthetic; the Seiko looks a lot nicer vs the RZE.
Regardless of brand/movement/price, I find the spb053 the more attractive watch. 👍
