I JUST CANNOT DECIDE

I have made up my mind to purchase a JDM Citizen NB1060. What I can't seem to settle on is which dial: the White (-04A) or the Blue (-12L). Both these pictures reveal the beautiful silver leaf lacquer finishing both dials share. However, the video reviews on YouTube that show the Blue dial seem to make it "pop" more than the video reviews of the White. Hard to know if the White is as stunning in person as the Blue seems to be (sometimes the camera just can't do a watch justice). If you own either, perhaps you can help sway my opinion as to which version to get.

Don’t know anything about these watches, but the blue looks better to me.

If you are looking for this to be a rather dedicated dress watch I would go with the white. If not, take your pick, they are both stunning.

·

I find the blue much more interesting.

·

The white is probably more flexible/useful, but I'd go for the blue precisely because it's a (little) bit more niche. And I don't have a blue watch.

·

@Ichibunz @pianoman I think you guys have these?

I first started liking the blue (first saw it on Just One More Watch), but got interested in the white as a more "dressy" alternative.

Yes, liked the blue initially, but thought the white would be a dressier option. However, I'm concerned that the white is too subtle.

I have two nice blue dress watches and plenty of dress watches with white dials, but nothing quite this stunning.

Blue is more dynamic and rich in terms of wrist appeal - the white could arguably be more versatile. Could not go wrong either way - but blue seems more appealing IMO.

I did own the blue, which leans green and I thought it was outstanding. Small strap, so I changed it easily. Case, movement and dial are high quality. Open case back is beautiful. The only reason I swapped it was I had the blue Monta Noble. I would get it again and might.

On my 8” wrist.

I had both but traded the white one recently since I don’t wear it.. but I might trade the blue one too… I’m eyeing something recently … 😜🤫

Any reason in particular you wore the blue more than the white, if I'm understanding you correctly.

Yes, that seems to be the general consensus. Thanks.

It s more interesting to look at … the white is nice but it’s just looked plain

That's my concern is that it looks "plain." Sounds like blue is the way to go. Thanks!

Blue would go with any situation, grey one is more of a dressy watch

I have the white, so I am a bit subjective. The white is one of those watches where you keep looking at it just to discover something new

I've been concerned that the white dial version looks "plain." Would you disagree with that? How dymanic would you describe the dial?

Look, all of this subjective ofc, but all I can say is that the white dial is deffinetly not plain. It's subtle, yet not plain. Truth be told there is no way scientific way to give you a clear and concise description, so will say this. If you want something that caches the eye in a manner that makes you think like you saw something but don't clearly understand what you saw go for white. If you want something that pops up instantly and everybody sees from a distance go for blue.
