Thank you for your interest! And let me answer your questions:

  1.  It doesn't matter usually, after I get the model of the watch I am looking for a few hours with my close contacts to see if that model is available on the market somewhere in the world.
  2.  Depending on the rarity of the piece, it could take a few days to one month or more (I will keep updated the customer usually during the process.)
  3.  Yes, before I found a store or a private seller that has the watch I check the documents for the validity, if the client has any suspicions especially from the private sellers I can also ask for further validity checkings.
  4.  The fee structure is percentage based. For example a 1K watch the commission is 20% and for a 10K watch the commission is 10-5% depending on the rarity. (This is just an example, all the terms are discussed before everything starts.
  5.  The most interesting one was actually not in the watch field (for the watches area I didn't get yet a client that requested an extremely rare piece.). The most exciting one was an inscribed Beretta by Arturo Rojas made for one of the members of the Medellin Cartel. I found it in a box from a container at a dock auction that was seized by the FBI. It was a complete journey but it was worth the time. Unfortunately, I signed a non-disclosure agreement with the client and I am not allowed to post photos.

I hope my answer is clear enough. Have a great day and I am open for more questions!
