Citizen Aqualand Full Lume x Citizen BN0227
Hi guys!
So I want a fun summer watch for this summer vacations and my honeymoon which will be spent in the Caribbean.
Between these two watches I’m very undecided.
The aqualand is such an icon, and the gun metal combined with the lemon dial is just amazing. Only thing is that I do not enjoy the depth gage that much. Also is thicker and heavier than the BN0227.
Enter the BN0227, it’s titanium, 47mm but 45 L2L, also has a similar colour scheme and is an eco drive.
I don’t need the aqualand features since I’m only an ocasional diver.
My big concerns are wearability (already knowing these are 2 big watches), but I’ve heard none of these wear true to their specs.
What do you guys think? Do you have any other suggestions?

If you do not have use for the Aqualand features, the BN0227 is a better choice. It wears like a 38mm watch in terms of lug to lug, you can easily pull it off if you have a 6.5 inch plus wrist.
Just be ready to get an aftermarket strap for the BN0227 if you do go for one, it is 24mm plus it is very thick and bulky feeling.
I voted for the Aqualand, because I like the digital display, and adding an Aqualand is a future goal of mine after seeing the new model!

Some decent FKM rubber straps will do for use in the water. I have similar-style rubber straps that I use on my Casio Duro, does the job.
Titanium is a great idea. But it's hard to know exactly how comfy a watch will be without trying it.
Of the two above the 227 is nicer in my opinion.
Some other ideas you might like. Some are titanium.
