Agreed.
I'm not sure about the twisted lugs either.
I absolutely love the GMT (especially the new Desert Red) and quite like the diver (particularly with blue / green bezel insert), so it's not the twisted lugs themselves - just the use of them on the field watch.
The 4512 case is spot on.
